Sanchez is literally the team's best hitter against RHP. The problem is he is an awful fielder and isn't the DH because, for some reason, Springer can only DH now.

The way the offense has been that isn't an impressive accomplishment. Kirk has another good week and Sanchez won't even have that.

Springer will be likely gone this offseason so DH can be upgraded.

Assuming we even have a season next year the real challenge is how many holes there are in the offense.

They need to find a way to get some more power in the bats. Whether that is relying more on guys who are speedy and can hit a lot of doubles or guys who can swing for the fences....too much soft contact. Too many ground balls...and generally too many guys who can't run fast enough or don't hustle to beat out double plays.

Going 3-3 against Tampa/New York is a decent result...but the Jays also dug themselves a hole and threw away opportunities to do better. They are winning in spite of the team flaws right now.

And that's the thing, at least two of those games were winnable, they just kind of threw them away. Still have 30 games though so hopefully we can go on a heater and sneak in.

I like that they have played themselves back into the wild card race. They have a lot of games against wild card contenders the rest of the way.

Unfortunately, Bieber is back to the DL. This team cannot stay healthy and Vladdy still cannot power

Vladdy still at top of the order, still garbage. 0-3, 3 left on base, still has ZERO home runs at home. Killing us. We had a better chance with him on IL

Cleveland getting hot at exactly the wrong time. KC was 9-1 in their last 10 coming into this series also, so no surprise that they won the first game.

Well… they could have won that game. How about they cash in a damn run; 1,000 runners left in scoring position. I went to game last night and convinced myself everytime Vladdy was up he was going to crush it. I generally love his positive attitude, but it grinds watching him suck and having sooo much fun doing it.
