Anderson! What a game - on to game 6!

Does he have a dog named Snowy?

Seriously though, he looked scary focused in that interview after the game, even scarier during the game. Gotta love that if you're a Sens fan.

I'm more happy he didn't take the self praise bait in said interview.  Great opportunity ahead on Monday to keep it going

Neil had a great game again. Karlsson looks like he's 16 with that haircut. Where the hell is SP

Good night.  Watched a couple of my best friends get married, while constantly checking my phone for texts from my little brother about the game.

Sounds like Stone and the rest played great.

EDIT: Watching the highlights.  What a pass from Stone!  Awesome hit by Neil on Boyle too.

Leave it to the Rags to suck the tuna when moneys on the table.

Nah, I don't agree. Much as it might be discomforting to say but Ottawa has gotten some goaltending and provided an appropriate response to the Rags physicality.

The Rangers are getting frustrated.  I was reading some of the Ranger threads on HFBoards, and what they're saying is eerily similar to what I was thinking when we were getting bounced by the Leafs.

Zenon Konopka = Gary Roberts.

Hope they can close it out on Monday, the Sc'ank will be in a frenzy.  Game 7 at MSG is not a risk I'm hoping to take.

I refuse to acknowledge anything good about OTT ever. Even when Anderson goes all stone pony like he did tonite.

I'll admit it, the other team losing feels almost as good as my team winning.

In more positive news, Alfie hopes to be back for game 6.  The Sc'ank is going to be amazing tomorrow night.

PLUS: G Craig Anderson has a .943 save-percentage in the playoffs. His 41 saves Saturday night at MSG was the first 40-plus save performance on the road in the post-season since Dallas G Ed Belfour made 48 stops in a 1-0 win over the New Jersey Devils in the 2000 Cup final ... The Senators are 4-1 since the lockout when they have a chance to send an opponent packing ... The Senators have a 4-4 lifetime record in Game 6 of a series ... Marian Gaborik has only one even-strength point in the series and that came in Game 1 ... The two-goal performance by C Jason Spezza in Game 5 was his first two-goal effort in the playoffs since 2006 vs. the Sabres.

MINUS: The Senators, who scored a 3-2 OT victory in Game 4 Wednesday at SBP, will be trying to win two straight at home for the first time since they completed the feat in Round 2 against the Devils during the run to the Cup final in 2007 ... The Rangers will have winger Carl Hagelin back after he served his three-game suspension for hitting Daniel Alfredsson in the head last Saturday in Game 2 ... The Rangers outhit the Senators 41-22 in Game 5. Dan Girardi and Brandon Prust had six hits each ... The 41 shots by the Blueshirts were the most since they had 46 vs. the Sabres in a 2-1 OT victory on April 29, 2007.

INJURIES

SENS: RW Daniel Alfredsson (concussion); C Peter Regin (shoulder); RW Jesse Winchester (upper body).

RANGERS: C Brian Boyle (concussion): D Steve Eminger (ankle); D Michael Sauer (concussion); RW Mats Zuccarello (wrist).

ONLINE EXTRA

John Tortorella kept it short and not very sweet at his press conference Sunday. In fact, one of the New York writers was able to fit everything he said into one tweet. Asked if he had any comment on the decision not to suspend Ottawa RW Chris Neil for his hit on Brian Boyle, Tortorella said he had no comment. He wouldn't confirm Boyle wasn't going to make the trip to Ottawa because of his concussion ... Rangers LW Carl Hagelin is looking forward to returning from his suspension. He said he's not going to change the way he plays. "I am excited to get back. We're down 3-2 and want to get the next one. That's the only thing that's on my mind right now," Hagelin told New York reporters. "What happened, happened, and I'm going to keep playing my game. I'm not a dirty player, so i'll just go out there and work hard."
