1 NY Rangers vs 8 Ottawa Senators

oh for pete's sakes. How can I hate Jason Spezza when he says his favourite player growing up was Steve Yzerman.

*sigh*

Because, he's Jason Spezza, owner of one of the most ridiculous goofy laughs in the history of everything?

Hey, that laugh is awesome.

And Spezza has always been obscenely talented and, like Yzerman, appears to be maturing into an even more dangerous player.

He's always been pretty much the only Senator I could appreciate.

I hope you did just compare Spezza to Yzerman.

Well, they both wear/wore 19, have connections to Ottawa, play centre and . . . umm . . . urrr . . . lead their team in points at least once? That's about it, really.

Neil looks to be in very rough shape.  Laid motionless for quite a while.

Edit: and then I realize my PVR is 5 minutes behind...

I'll believe it if he misses a game. It certainly wouldn't be the first time he milked something to try to get a call.

Hmm given that it was in the offensive zone and he's on the bench yelling now you could easily be right.
