2011 Argo's thread

Well that's the season for the Argghhhhhgo's.
They gotta make some changes like the G.M should step down.
Unreal record for this G.M, and he still has a job.

Tonight i'm down at Ivor Wynne my daughter is dancing with her classmates at halftime. (Dance Studio)
Should be a decent game B.C in town.

I am expecting a really close game, possibly high scoring. Would be nice if Winnipeg lost of the last play of the game cuz of a too many men on the field call, would really shut them up about bugging us Riders fans all the time ;D

mmmmm beer and party food ! No work tomorrow, gotta love Hydro Mondays (southern Hydro employees get every 2nd Monday off)

It was a raucous crowd of over 54,000 fans at B.C. Place Stadium, that saw the Lions defeat the Blue Bombers by a score of 34-24, in the 99th Grey Cup game.  It also saw B.C. quarterback, Travis Lulay, a homegrown talent, win MVP honours, and Lions' coach Wally Buono winning his 5th championship in that capacity.

As for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, 22 years and counting without a Grey Cup victory, they sported the
second-worst passing record in the league this season.
The Bombers attempted to stifle the Lions offence to no
avail, as B.C. was the more aggressive of the two teams
on the field.

Next year's 100th Grey Cup game will be played in
Toronto.  It would be nice if the Argos were to be there.
Of course, unless the Argonauts improve drastically, it's
highly doubtful they'll be.

Prime Minister Harper was in attendance at B.C. Place,
along with rocker Gene Simmons.

Congrats to the Lions on a game well-played.  Dub them the 'comeback' team, as B.C. Is the only team in CFL history to have started the regular season 0-5, and go on all the way to a Grey Cup triumph.

And to think that wasn't even the best game of the weekend at BC place. The Vanier Cup was played there on Friday night and was a more exciting game to me. Maybe that it went to OT helped.

If anyone cares, Ricky Ray is an Argo!
(for Steven Jyles, Grant Shaw and a draft pick.)

Hopefully Ray has lots of gas in the tank. If so maybe this finally shores things up at QB for the Argos.

Doesn't seem like a very steep price for a starting QB.  Cheaper than Bishop cost, no?

Honestly, I couldn't tell ya what we gave up for Bishop. I've completely forgotten.

Monday Labour Day where worked to death peons go to sporting events and get drunk.
Yea!!!

I predict an Argo victory over the hated Cats. I will wear my T shirt to the event, and be reviled.
Oh Rob your also gonna be reviled. Cause yer sittin with me.

Go Argooooo's

Last Labour day classic at Ivor Wynn stadium will be sold out.

Big test against the Als tomorrow, we haven't exactly been a powerhouse
but not too bad this season.
*fingers crossed*
