Apparently, Evander Kane asked for a trade every year he was in Winnipeg

Interesting if only because I think there's a general perception that if a player asks for a trade we'll know about it.

There were a couple of reports years ago that he requested a trade/wanted out though: http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/puck-daddy/brief-history-evander-kane-trade-request-denials-winnipeg-174743279--nhl.html

Those reports stopped once he signed his current 5-year contract. Kinda weird that he would sign a long-term deal with a team he didn't want to be a part of, but I'm guessing he felt like he didn't have much of a choice.

It would help if the professional sports leagues stopped employing old men with poor eyesight and a technological savvy that stopped in 1984 as their review judges.

Yeah, something's gotta give in Anaheim. So, why not a coach who specializes in questionable defensive strategy and poor puck possession?

Anaheim just blew a 3-0 lead against Dallas.

Anaheim scored 3 in the 1st. Dallas scored 3 in the 2nd. Then the Stars went ahead late in the 3rd period. Anaheim has just 1 shot in this period with 36 seconds left in the game.

And the Stars hang on to win. Shots were 17-2 for Dallas in the 3rd period.

I guess it works here just as well...

I love how Alex Burmistrov changes his mind about the elbowing penalty he received after watching the video on the scoreboard:

I don't do this often. But when I do:

LOL

Anaheim loses again, 2-1 to St. Louis. The Ducks have scored 10 goals in 10 games. The second lowest scoring team in the league has scored twice as often as they have.

Honestly at this point you wouldn't be firing Boudreau, you'd be putting him out of his misery. It's the humane thing to do.

They've already been shut out 5 times! That's a season's worth for most teams.
