2015 MLB ALDS - Texas Rangers (88-74) @ Toronto Blue Jays (93-69)

Not sure I understand the rationale of using Ezequiel Carrera as the pinch hitter for Donaldson on that play.  He hit .266 with a .675 OPS against right handed pitchers this year and struggled when playing in September.

I would've thought Pennington (even though he has no offensive capability). Not sure if he's on the roster though.

He's actually in at 3B now.

Is Carrera that much better a hitter that we want to burn bench flexibility for?

Gallardo out now. Maybe more contact against their bullpen.

Smoak swinging wildly.  He really shouldn't be starting over Colabello in my books.

Sanchez looks to be back on track at least.  Had a good couple of outings down the stretch and has some really nice movement on his fastball.

Yea, Carrera over Colabello was definitely a head scratcher.

Just finished watching the game via the PVR. I actually was able avoid any updates during the day.

So disappointed... 3:45 start on a weekday, a fox broadcast, didn't like their graphics (no pitch graphic), missed OUR play by play guys, Price off, Bautista and Donaldson hurt... omg. Worse case scenario. Feels like game 7 versus Boston.

I thought the Jays did play their game, didn't risk stealing, hit the ball hard, had faith in their bats... barely missed a half dozen.

They can still do it, hopefully Joeybatz and JD are okay.
