"Those guys are so deadly with the puck, especially with Connor's speed," said Canadian forward Ryan O'Reilly. "The way he beats the guy up the wall and creates a scoring chance and ends the game, it's definitely dangerous. That was huge, getting that goal."
"They were really tough against Canada, really tough against the US, obviously Finland was a little disappointment for them but every other game was close, their goalie's been playing great so it was as hard as we thought."
"We started playing our game in the second period," said defenceman Roman Josi. "We scored a couple of quick goals and that put us in the right mindset. We are going to enjoy the win tonight and go back to Copenhagen and prepare for our game. It will be another big challenge for us going against the Canadians."
Unreal pass by McDavid in OT for the winner.hockeyfan1 said:Team Canada needed OT in eliminating Team Russia 5-4 on Ryan O'Reilly's OT PP goal out in front of the Russian net on a passout from Connor McDavid.
McDavid had three assists in the game while Canada got goals from Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Colton Parayko, Kyle Turris, and Pierre-Luc DuBois.
Toronto Maple Leafs defenceman Nikita Zaltsev had three assists for his squad.
The game played at the Royal Arena here in Copenhagen featured exciting offence with Canada in the lead and Russia tying it up. The Canadians held a lead three tines in the game, only to have thw Russians cone back to tie ip the score each time.
It took OT to finally decide the winner. Make that a power-play advantage too.
Team Canada will face Team Switzerland for the Semi-final on Saturday.

"When you look at the tournament overall and you can say you beat Canada twice and came home with a bronze medal, you probably think you?d do a little bit better than that," said the USA's Patrick Kane.
