MTL fans primarily booing Leaf players.... but yah.... they could be more respectful.
 
I replayed that second goal 5 times.... check the beauty of the transition with three Canadian players swooping to turn the other way.... in perfect harmony
 
I am very intrigued about how Marner will make out in this tournament. Early but it seems pretty intense on par at least with 1st Round playoffs.
 
These tourneys are fun because the players are super intense and skilled and usually not players who are just trying to carve out a niche with overly physical play.
 
Nylander is on a bit of an island. Whatever bad juju the Rangers/Predators dressing rooms have is clinging to Zibanejad and Forsberg.

I dunno why anyone thought this would be like an ASG. Players put in more effort at practices during the regular season than they do there. This is certainly no Olympics but still the first best on best tournament in a very long time and the first one for a number of significant Canadian players. Of course they're competing hard.

I got more hyped for the tournament the closer it got. For anyone not watching now it's not too late to get interested. Couldn't imagine missing the game Saturday.
