I would officially like to tender my apology to Wayne Simmonds.  I thought he was done after last season.  He looks great this year
I honestly don?t ever recall seeing this kind of turnaround in the on-ice performance from a player who looked like he was done the prior year.

Damn, just realized Girard's goal with 0.3 seconds left in the 1st period ended Kampf's shutout streak. He had gone 17 straight games without the opposition scoring a 5-on-5 goal with him on the ice prior to that.

He was on for just a 7 second shift too lol.

See I told you you jinxed him, like, 5 games ago.

Was only able to watch here and there as was busy at boys pizza shop but what a roll this team is on. Keefe has them playing some great hockey. Nice to see AM with the hatty creeping up in the goal scoring dept.

It's crazy to me that Colorado felt comfortable going into the season with him as back-up knowing what Kuemper's injury history was like.

Actually my bad on this, they do have a legit decent back-up in Pavel Francouz but he's been injured since pre-season. It's almost as if #3 goalies aren't supposed to be that good.

Marner isn't getting much love in the MotM thread but boy oh boy that pass on Matthews' G2 ... wow.

He?s likely starting our next game, isn?t he?  :o

Depends on how serious whatever kept Woll out of the lineup is and how close Mrazek is. Wouldn?t shock me if one of them is good to go.

Mrazek is supposedly starting for the Marlies on Sunday, so Hutch or Woll will probably go against the Jets.
