Samsonov was great. Tight game, too bad they could only manage 4 shots all of the 2nd period. Pretty bad OT session and shootout.

I thought both teams put in a really solid defensive effort and generally made life easier for their goalies, who stood tall when the skaters couldn't keep it out.
Both offenses had some trouble generating second/third chances; their attack timings weren't staggered fortuitously enough and when we did get break throughs, they just missed the net or Samsononv/Georgiev got enough. Honestly, it could've been a 1-0 game for the Leafs if our PK smothered the puck on the boards or McCabe was faster or slower to get across the weak side.
Real good pitchers duel sort of game against two high-end offenses.
