Engvall can't put it in the open net. One of those nights. JT 1 shot on net tonight. Haha. Booing Marner too for a bad pass.
Engvall seems to create something every shift.
I like him. He's a Keeper. When Mikheyev comes back, I'm moving whoever to keep him.

Time to regroup.

I hope they shake up the blue line before the deadline, and keep 37 and 38.  Let 'em learn.

The claim that they "went on vacation early" doesn't really hold water.  I see good effort for the most part.
For the most part I agree. I thought they looked a bit careless especially in the dzone early and Andersen wasn't there to save them tonight. They had their chances on offense, but their goalie played really well. Hopefully Muzzin is back soon after the break.

Yup I agree. Muzz should be back so Marincin can move down the lineup or out if it. They need to regroup. I was glad to see Freddie have a good 3rd period.
Muzz Holl
Dermott Barrie
Sandin Liljegren

Agree. Freddie didn't save them but they had their chances. One of those games where everything was going in. Enjoy the break.

Willy and Engvall had a good game. Spezza looked good for stretches, liked Holl's game. Everyone else was meh, and I really disliked Barrie. Obviously the team didn't play as bad at Andersen's .818%

Leafs out of a playoff spot now. Ru-oh

Would be a surprise to see them make the playoffs.  Florida has 2 games in hand.  Until Tavares takes an interest in playing both ways and the leafs get a new goalie this is what we get.

Agree. I did like Matthews' game for the most part. 7 shots on net for him and 7 for Marner. Would like to see Hyman off that line. Run Engvall or Johnsson there and put  Hyman on the JT line or Kerfoot's.

Interesting. I was going to say I thought the leafs were roughly even in the first, not so great in the 2nd and the 3rd was kinda hard to tell because the score was so far out of hand.  But I figure they win a game like that fairly often.

I kinda wish Mikheyev was still around.

Past 14 games Andersen's rocking an .888 save percentage. Still 7-2-3 in that span. Hutch ended up being the goalie of record on two losses though.
