Team struggling to get things going? Put out the 4th line on a defensive zone draw so they can get hemmed in for the entire shift. Who needs to change momentum when things are already going perfectly?

It always worked at the All-Star game.

Not sure if it's the way he's been handled by Carlyle, or the contract situation but Kadri to me has been a big disappointment this season in my mind. What's the rest of u think?

He definitely has.  I liked a lot of what he was bringing the first handful of games of the season but he has really been substandard for large chunks of the season.
I think that blame needs to be handed around to a lot of players right now though.  Lupul is doing the exact same dipsy-doodle turnover-prone play.  Kessel has been invisible.  JVR has been AWOL.  Is Raymond even in the lineup?

I haven't particularly been a fan of his since day one, actually.

Mirtle makes a good point - Columbus doesn't even have someone who would fight Orr or McLaren. So even one of them is redundant in this game.

Shut up *Punches Potvin29*

See...I wouldn't have done that if you were posting with Colton and Frazer.

The Patriots scored four second half touchdowns yesterday against the Broncos. We can do it against lowly Columbus!

Bah.  Carlyle's has mismanaged the lines, and I don't understand why they can't play the system that they used last year where there was speed and forechecking, instead of counterpunching.

But as others have said, there are too many talented guys not living up to their paychecks at the moment.  The skill is there; the will isn't.

Is it wrong that I find this a little funny?

Not just getting tuned by the Blue Jackets, but the reactions on here too.

I'm not a big fan of Carlyle, but he's not wearing skates.  Their needs to be some accountability demanded of players from players.

Nonis should be taking some blame for the poor defensive play in my opinion. He added no proven defenders to the roster this off season.

I mentioned that a while back. Same words basically. As much as I like Clarkson it's not what we needed and that contract I'm sorry hurt us as far as doing much else. Think it was just Nonis trying to put his stamp on the team. The only thing with the defensive play is it coaching, players, system? Something has got to change and u think they would have addressed that after the Bruin collapse and play most of last season as well.

I am frustrated with these guys when they lose and don't make the playoffs and I am frustrated with these guys when they are 3rd in the conference.  So hard to be a Leaf fan.

If I leave now and go to sleep the Leafs will come back and win 5-4.

And I've decided I can't be bothered with the 3rd period with a 4 goal deficit at 1.45am.

So if they win I expect gifts and adulation tomorrow for sacrificing my watching for the good of you guys.

So do the players suing the NHL for head injuries just show the non-penalty, non-suspension elbow to Datsyuk and then immediately sit down?
