They need some new blood in the bottom 6. If they can't make Engvall go net-front more he can get the hell out, even though he's got some good aspects to his game,

47 is most frustrating to watch.

The lack of offense from the blueline and the bottom 6 are going to sink them in the postseason.

TO should've lost both games, it's totally on JT, Mitch, Willie or Bunting to score or create, the rest of the team are passengers, not particularly good offensively or defensively.

Lifeless and clueless, no chance TO is going anywhere in the playoffs, sad.

Fixing the bottom 6 isn't going to help, TO needs more quality forwards, not the crap Dubie signed this last summer.

Jarn, overpaid, Kampf overpaid, ZAR a waste of space, Simmonds a waste, Kerfoot, well, get rid of these 5 players and look to add quality not overpay players who can barely outplay minor leaguers.

I remember Blair MacDonald playing with Edmonton on Gretzky's line, he had a great year but his coach said, a fire hydrant could score 40 goals playing with Gretzky, that's Jarnkrok who is totally useless on the 3rd line but is having a career year playing with Mitch and JT, I see Jarnkrok do nothing game after game and then I see people complain about Engvall, imponderable?

The team is a mess, Dubie needs to move on, Keefe as well, ah what the heck, Shanny too.

Been telling all of you that for ages. No grit at all none zippo. Shies away from contact which is hard to watch. Completely disappeared in the playoffs last year and I expect the same this year.

The bottom 6 being full of guys who can't score doesn't help things in games like this

Engvall is beginning to really piss me off.  He defaults to the perimeter.
And he pissed off Keefe because he benched him. He only played 10 mins.

I'm as frustrated as anyone about the effort last night but are watching different games?  They dominated Columbus in the first game and dominated them in in the first period last night too.  They just played a horrid 2nd and 3rd period

Same thing over and over... put everyone on waivers, blow it up blah blah blah.

Leafs are essentially tied with Tampa for 4th in the league. I wonder how many other teams up this high have their fanbases telling management to tear it down. It's bizarre.

I imagine Leaf "fans" are the worst. Just looking for any reason to dump on the team. It's beyond ridiculous that pretty much every time they lose or have a bad game, it's actually a horrible game and they'll never win in the playoffs and all that crap. Trade this guy, fore Dubas and Keefe. Leafs have 38 games to go and they will lose another stinker probably to a bad team before it's over. Good teams lose to bad teams and play terrible doing it. I don't hear anyone saying TBay is in trouble after blowing a lead and losing to the Sharks or getting destroyed 7-1 by Florida. Oilers were the hottest team in the league and they're getting destroyed by the habs today. It happens.

At the game. Not sure what the Leafs were doing in the 2nd. Fell asleep

What's your take on Woll?

Leafs hung him out to dry, faced 40 shots and a lot were from in close.  Hard to judge on one game but he was fine to my eyes.

TB is in trouble but since they've won the Cup within memory things can be understandable/forgiven, what we're seeing from TO is not an isolated problem, it's an annual, TO ability to finish the year strongly has not been in evidence since the Matthews/Marner regime started, TO's ability to win a playoff series even tho in the driver's seat has proven that TO doesn't have a killer's instinct, the character and talent of the team is deficient and needs to be bolstered. More additions like Lybushkin are mere distractions, TO needs true quality reinforcements with character.

Keefe wants to continue to play Kampf as a 3rd line center, 15 plus minutes per game and he has 4 goals, is 4 goals even acceptable for a 4th liner? Kampf might be tolerable during the regular season but he's playoff useless, he's functioning at max, now. We have 5 players that can score, it isn't enough as history has shown us and as the last 2 games against Columbus is reinforcing, this team isn't ready, isn't worthy.
