Glad I broke my rule - pretty complete effort by the Leafs tonight. Nice to have a goalie cleaning up most of the few defensive miscues.

Great bounce back. I know we got into penalty trouble but the only thing I didn't like or have liked is Robertson's ice time. Again the least amount for anyone.
Oh and the Bruins have lost 4 straight and 6 of their last 8. Leafs within 4 now with a game in hand.

Beautiful year round. I live in a small resort town known for its snow but bizarre fall and start to winter so far. Mild temps, rain and not much snow. Tourists say the skiing is good though and town is busy. Happy Holidays to you as well.

If it came down to it, I'd rather have Benoit over Timmins at this point.  Better defensive play is more valuable than Timmin's offensive upside.  Although I do think the Leafs are still lacking another solid offensive defenseman to help with better transition offense

Columbus is bad but the Leafs played better with Jones in net.  Sammy at his best last year had a little bit of wild play but he loses his crease when he's struggling and he has no idea where to position himself right now and I think that erratic play gets the defense second guessing what to do and the Leafs defense falls apart when that happens.  We can't expect Jones to be playing this well for another 15 games until Woll comes back BUT right now he has 3.3 goals saved above expected in 6 appearances.  Even if he is terrible for the rest of the year that's already a better result that we can expect from a 3rd goalie who hasn't had a save percentage above .900 since 2017-2018

Even a .900 SV% is probably good enough for the Leafs to play >.550 hockey which is fine in a pinch.
