Game Notes

BOS
?Halak (8-2-2, 1.98 GAA, .939 Sv%) will likely start for the Bruins
?Boston is of course without a number of key players at the moment, but they're still picking up wins. Since Bergeron went down they are 3-0-1
?That's 22-year old rookie Jacob Forsbacka Karlsson in the middle of Boston's top line. Yes, he fits the entire thing on his jersey.
?Pastrnak has 0 goals and 1 assist in his last 5 games. Marchand has 0 goals and 1 assist in his last 6.

TOR
?Andersen (12-7-0, 2.24 GAA, .931 Sv%) will likely start for the Leafs
?Matthews is getting close to returning and the RFA deadline for Nylander is coming up quick. This could be the last game before those two make their returns to the line-up

Injuries

?Patrice Bergeron - Shoulder - Injured Reserve
?Brandon Carlo - Upper Body - Injured Reserve
?Zdeno Chara - Knee - Injured Reserve
?Charlie McAvoy - Concussion - Injured Reserve
?Urho Vaakanainen - Concussion - Injured Reserve
Code:

?Auston Matthews - Shoulder - Injured Reserve

Another hattie for Pastrnak, yes?

If you had the option of starting the game down 3-0 but it meant that Pastrnak had to sit out... does it take more than 5 seconds to take that deal?

I already signed off on it yesterday.

Looks like Rask (5-4-2, 2.72 GAA, .913 Sv%) gets the start instead. His last 5 starts have alternated between great and awful (.960 Sv%, .786, .973, .889, .939) so he's due for a dud. That's just basic stats.

Even without Matthews and Nylander Leafs should take this one due to the Bruin injuries. Top line has been quiet without Bergeron, no Chara or McAvoy. Expecting a Leafs win 4 or 5 -2 before the return of the 2 stars. Be nice to see the full team and what the 4 lines will look like.

Whooo calm down... Zero assumptions can be made when the Leafs and Boston meetup.

Halak has way  better numbers than Rask this season so far, it's like he's having a renaissance year.

The Bruins interference system is so strong they?ve taken out their own players 3 times already.

Dermott springs Kadri clean but nifty mittens clips the post.
