Canadiens @ Leafs - Jan. 23rd, 7:00pm - CBC, Fan 590

That was an excellent ceremony.

If you're a Leaf watching that Keon clip, hearing his words about beating the Canadiens, how can that not light a massive fire under you for tonight's game?

Well....  :P

Why does Sportsnet keep touting the skycam.  It's honestly a terrible camera angle.

Yeah, I don't like it at all, especially when there is sustained possession in one zone. I wouldn't mind seeing an overhead shot as teams break through the neutral zone though.

If you were taking a shot every time CBC said "4k" you'd have been dead 5 minutes ago.

I imagine a Sportsnet exec just had a stroke when Healy mentioned 8K.

Big launch night for 4K, yes Glenn, let's talk about it's successor.

lol

Is it just me or is the crowd really quiet?

Half of them were too busy recording what was going on with their phones. Kids these days.

I remember the 93 playoffs and Ron McLean holding a decibel meter at the beginning of the game at MLG and it was over what a a jetliner makes. Much less a corporate crowd then, and something to cheer for.  I think they'd be hard pressed to duplicate that enthusiasm inside the ACC in any respect with the sushi crowd sitting on their hands all game regardless of circumstances.

I think it's actually quite an accomplishment that Reimer has been able to sustain some pretty wicked numbers given the team in front of him.

It looks like the Leafs are scared of the speed and are allowing too much of a gap. They need to skate with these guys and give them less time to make plays.

Holy what a pathetic showing. Does Babcock ever call a timeout to let these guys know their performance sucks. Starts in the last few games have been atrocious. I don't expect wins but st least a decent effort to start the game. Only team I can't stand and would like to lay a whooping on and we s**t the bed. Wow.
