Canadiens vs. Maple Leafs - Jan. 21st, 7:00pm - CBC, TSN 1050

Gio, why oh why did you decide to pinch there? All of a sudden the Habs are back in the game when they have no business being anywhere close. Anderson again. UIgh.

Good grief that was terrible. Leafs play in their end like idiots and now Samsonov is injured.

I am honestly baffled how well we looked defensively, structured a month or so ago and now we are back somewhat to that shinny hockey defence. Head scratching with this bunch. I know Brodie is out but that's not the only problem.

My god Sandin you're in a good spot in the slot to walk in and shoot and you pass it to Matthews who's behind the gaol line in the corner.

Their players are better than ours.  (now)

ZZBM I know Samsonov has played well but even tonight they got to get him to be calmer in the net. He's all over the place and all the time. I'm not sold on this guy. He'd be much better if they can get him to stay calmer in the net. Easier said than done but in my opinion probably why he was let go. He swims too much.

The shot clock for MTL doesn't really do justice to the number of chances they've had and how good Samsonov has had to be.

More suspect defensive zone play. They can't seem to do anything with the puck when it is near them. Tie game.

I?m enjoying watching Samsonov. I?m seeing more of him than I?d like. But it?s enjoyable. So far.
