I knew Vancouver would take a step back but wow. Also just looking at them their depth has really take a hit.

Also, half their wins come against Ottawa. They're 3-7-0 against teams that aren't completely terrible.

1-4 against the Habs, and Tyler Toffoli has 8 goals and 11 points against them in those 5 games after the Canucks didn't re-sign him over the offseason.

They're 0-2 against the Flames and Markstrom has a .966 Sv% in those 2 games against his former club, again after they didn't re-sign him over the offseason.

Let's hope this ex-Canucks revenge season continues with Malhotra's PP ripping into them.

A reminder of what happened the last time the Leafs faced Vancouver.

Gonna be interesting to see how the Habs do once they get to not play every other game against Vancouver, and if Tiffoli can score on a regular basis against anyone else.

As for Vancouver, they suck - though, so does most of the North division, quite frankly. Take away games against Ottawa, and the Leafs and Habs are the only teams with better than .500 p%.

Yeah I don't get it.  You felt that was the best line you have had in 10 games on the 4th line...and used it once.

I get it somewhat, you want to see what others have got. But you'd think Anderson would have at least gotten a 2nd game after that one. Especially considering that high praise.

I don't dislike Nik Petan but I kind of feel like he's a guy who is stuck in AAAHL level.  I'm not sure I need to see more of him over seeing what guys like Anderson/Boyd can do on this roster.

Going into the season, I expected the shuffle at the beginning of the season at the bottom of the roster (I didn't expect so much Bogosian, tbh).

I think it is still early enough, especially without the preseason tune ups) to get as many players game reps as possible. I think it also makes sense to get reps to subs that might fill in top-6 roles. Petan is also from BC, so we're back to sentimental gestures.
