Canucks @ Leafs - Feb. 4th, 7:00pm - TSN4, Fan 590

Bogosian has been pretty good to my eye.

I'd like to see Liljegren get in on the RHS just to see if he's anywhere yet.

Yeah Bogosian has been a real surprise.  He's far more the player in the postseason with Tampa than the one who got cut by the Sabres.  I wonder what would have happened had the Leafs picked him up last year instead of going into a dismal stretch that had Dubas pull back on making mid-season adjustments.

I had assumed Dermott and Lehtonen were locks and Bogo would be praying for ice time. But he hasn't been terrible at all.

I think you need to pick when Liljegren gets in though. Put him in during the 2nd of a back to back when a rest is needed for a player. Or put him in against Ottawa to start. It's tough getting into game one of the season(with no real hockey prior) when the other players are at full stride. I realize it happens in the cases of injuries for some players, but even they get to skate for a game or two in the AHL on a conditioning stint. Or at least they use to.

Bogosian was terrible in game one. Wasn't much better in game two. But since then, he's been solid. That's all you can ask for out of a number 5/6

Bogosian has been a pleasant surprise. Also starting to feel a little bad for Sandin though, hopefully Ontario gives the AHL permission to start up so he can actually play.

I?m good with the 4th line rotation, those guys on the taxi squad need some game time. Plus it?s not like the 4th line usually has a huge impact on the outcome of the match.

GO LEAFS GO!

If we look at Bogosian being a Ceci replacement, he's been a revelation.

You, sir, are very nearly godlike.

Someone in my fantasy league just dropped Jones and I was going to claim him as quick as I could before looking at his numbers.

I'd grab him, that's got to be unsustainably low production for him.

Not to bore people too much with fantasy talk but my D right now is actually ok while my forwards and goalies are being ravaged by the virus.

Not picking exclusively from North division knowing there is zero defense up here?

Seth Jones?

I assume this person has never won your fantasy league before.

Jones is a good example of a guy who is a better real player than fantasy player. Looking at just last seasons stats he was tied for 49th with a slew of defencemen in goals, 42nd in assists, 41st in PP points, 44th in shots, 46th in +/-, and 116th in hits. He was 18th in blocks, so that combined with ok offensive stats makes him a solid option but he's hardly an elite fantasy defenceman.

I live in BC and am inundated by Canuck pinheads texts with these games and I?ll have to go thru this 9 times this year. A few bets so far and the Leafs had better pump these guys...
