Canucks @ Leafs - Feb. 8th, 6:00pm - CBC, SN 590

Gotta hand it to them.  They looked comatose and I thought they were going to let this one get away.

This one is over.  Leafs win the last one heading into the break.  The Atlantic division is getting clustered.

Neither team looked like they came to play until the Leafs turned things on partway through the 3rd. If this is the type of effort Vancouver has been putting in lately, it's no wonder they only have 4 wins in their last 20 games.

Well everyone it wasn't pretty but they grabbed the 2 points. Anyway we'll see everyone in a couple weeks. Go Canada go.

Yeah Vancouver sucked tonight. Watching them with the extra man at the end of the game must have been very painful for Canuck fans.

Should have been a shutout with that crappy goal Nucks got but a win is a win.

Bernier hates shutouts.

Speaking of which, right before the 3rd period Hughson mentioned the last shutout Luongo had against Toronto and right when he finished the sentence he got flustered because he said the word shutout. Suck it, Canuck-lover.

Agree with you and CTB, they looked terrible outside of Luongo.  Daniel is probably playing his worst hockey ever.

Ranger played 1:16 of ice-time on the PK, 2nd to only Phaneuf and Gunnarsson. I'd play him as the 7th defenceman for shorthanded situations alone. He's been very effective in that area this season, and it means Franson/Gardiner/Rielly don't have to go out there for them which is another bonus.

Good thing of late is balancing out the ROWs with the shootout wins after relying on the shootouts for a while

I think it's safe to say LOLongo won't be the Team Canada starter...

I'm not sure. I didn't think he was bad tonight at all. He wasn't unbelievable or anything, but, he was solid and gave his team every chance to win. None of the goals were particularly weak or anything, either.

I don't think that's a fair assumption. The JVR goal was a fluke and the Kessel wrister was an incredible shot through a screen. He should've had the Raymond goal.

With a world class D, I'm sure he'll do just fine.

Yes we do...

Sent from the keyboard, using my fingers, on my 15in Macbook Pro loaded into windows 8 using bootcamp. It's also plugged into the mains not on battery power. My 8600gt is currently running not my integrated graphics card. Not using tapatalk.

In case anyone was wondering.
