Ya I tend to switch it to something else when they decide not to show up. Less stress. Too many nights off for me by some. Sports and athletes in general have become hard to take. NBA is the worst and like I said before owners, management are screwed. Kudos to a guy like Pat Riley for suspending Butler. Quit coddling these guys with some of their demands.
 
I don't care what their record is, something is fundamentally wrong when Auston Matthews hasn't even been close to the team's best player in all but 2 or 3 games all season — and none of them a win. Granted his injury, but still.

I keep waiting for the vaunted "score effects" to kick in. Apparently that only works for other teams.

I was going to post something to this extent. Probably get bashed by some. Because of our record some may think everything is fine. I don't look at wins when trying to give my opinion on teams. I look at overall play and how consistent it is. I said it earlier this year Stolarz was our best player first whack of games and then we seem to had a stretch where we played great hockey but the last month or so I haven't liked too much about our performances and our record is flattering. We are not as good as our record plain and simple.

I totally agree. The defense has regressed from the start of the year and the offense has never looked potent under Berube.
