Capitals @ Leafs - Oct. 29th, 7:00pm - TSN4, TSN 1050

All I want to see from the Leafs tonight: a dominant effort where they outplay and outscore the Capitals from the very start of the game to the very end.

Is that really too much to ask for?

It's happening.

Kuzy with a rough self-own.
Might be a dislocation. Would be horrible if it was a collarbone break.

Fun fact (that?s absolutely not true):
Leafs scoring on the first shot on goal increases Holtby?s ave percentage.

I wonder if anyone is going to complain about Babcock putting line 1 out against the Caps? 4th for the OZ draw.

Why don?t the Leafs fight back....Matthews gets elbowed in the face and Rielly gets the penalty

This is a weak call

Cross checking a guy a few times without the puck like that especially when it's clearly in retaliation for something is usually a penalty. Unless a Bruin player is doing it of course.

Ovechkin offered some bulletin board material.

Yeah, I read that.

?For them, they?re still a young group of guys,? Ovechkin noted. ?I hope they?re going to learn, but it?s up to them how they want to do it. If they want to play for themselves or if they want to win a Stanley Cup they have to play differently.? - sportsnet.ca

I like candid Ovechkin.

I don't know.  I just think they've begun to tune Ovechkin out.  Quite frankly, I think he's lost the Leafs' dressing room.

Nice.  ;D ;D ;D

Justin Holl diving in front of an Ovechkin slapper is going to get him Connor brownie points.

I?m still baffled at the number of high hits people are getting away with.  The NHL must be doubling down on the concept that concussions are a myth

Also great: that?s not a head shot, but you?re gonna have to sit for concussion protocol.
