Rare Matthews turnover leads to sustained defensive zone play.  The puck just stopped moving. I don't think the ice quality is very good
 
Watching US feed and listening to PK Subban who was anxious to see the Leafs play. Says way too sloppy, flat coming out and can't see this team winning the 1-0 games.
 
Well not a great period, lucky to be leading but hopefully they pick up the pace and take control of the game. Washington are not a great team anymore. Going to be a long season for OV I think.
 
The ice quality is really poor.  Leafs made a nice adjustment there to push pucks to the net.  Tavares is on fire
 
What a save from Woll to stop that odd blunce and then immediately up the ice to Nylander.  Pay the man
 
Couple of thoughts.

That penalty shot was really chintzy - but given how it ended I'm fine with that.

What a nasty goal by Nylander - pay that man.
 
My feed is terrible-stalling tonight but I gather:

Woll has been great
Leafs have been lucky
Ovie going to a BH on a (suspect) penalty shot suggests he might finally be standing on the edge of the Age Cliff

And that was a nice goal by 88
