It's funny, because, in a lot of ways, it's had the opposite effect on me. I've really enjoyed watching them play a more controlled, even game. Even though they haven't had success in terms of results, I've really seen a fair amount of improvement on the ice. They're not getting dominated the way they used to, and that's encouraging. I know they're not going anywhere this season, but, seeing them get back to some actual structure has been more fun to watch than seeing them spending 2/3 of the game in the defensive end.
I get what your saying, but I get no enjoyment whatsoever from watching them play a trap style system. At least under Carlyle they were entertaining and winning games. Now it's like watching paint dry, except once the paint has dried, it all just flakes off.
