Great play by Liljegren saving Willy.

He made a nice cross ice pass to Matthews later on in the PP.

Last number of games, his play has gone up.

He caught up to Cooley who is not slow

And thwarted him.

All of sudden Liljegren is beginning to look like the D we all hoped for.

McCabe has seemingly solidified into a dependable top 4 guy.

Benoit appeared like a miracle from heaven.

Brodie suddenly looks not-washed-up after switching sides.

Even Lagesson and Lajoie have turned in decent performances.  And now this Rifai fellow.

Who'd I leave out, Gio?  Rielly?

No idea how you guys like Samsonov in goal. Utterly horrible positioning game in game out. Lucky better than good and Nylander has got a burr up his as* tonight which I like but you got to be smart.

Keefe can complain about the faux-penalty to Tavares that got this started but the D regressed badly to its prior Rielly-dependency state.
