Nice job.My God, we just Bobrovsky'd the Devils.
Yep you take the 2 points and run but definitely some things need changing.Winning cures all ills but that was a bad game by our guys, outside the crease.
HmmKeefe teams are highly susceptible to counter punches. Just pretend it’s the PK the whole game.
That’s complete horseshit. If it wasn't for him and Woll's good play especially Stolarz's play early in the year we wouldn't even be in the playoffs at the moment.
From your initial post it wasn’t evident that you knew how waivers work, and then you fabricated a whole scenario to disappoint yourself.Ya I understand how waivers work. I would think there was some word or Nashville inquiring about possibly trading him before that. You would think Tre would be calling every GM to see if anything is available. If you could have gotten him and made some moves to make it work he's better than the 3 mentioned and currently playing.
No team in the league was willing to give up an asset for him. That should tell you a lot about how he was perceived - not just by the Leafs. He was not playing well and hadn’t for quite a while. It’s great that he’s had a nice start in Columbus. I’m doubtful he keeps it up.Ya I understand how waivers work. I know how waivers work. My point was and what I was trying to point out is I would think before a player goes on waivers there might be an inclination that he's going to be put on waivers. Do managers not reach out to see if a deal could be made? I would assume a GM would explore those options? The kid went on waivers and my guess he could have been picked up in a trade. I know Tre has limited cap and had to do something but if something could have been worked out he would have been a good pickup. He's young high draft obviously fell out of favour but hes better than the 3 playing tonight. From your initial post it wasn’t evident that you knew how waivers work, and then you fabricated a whole scenario to disappoint yourself.

What do you think you had to give up for him when they are letting him go. Don't think a pick like 4th, 5th rounder could have gotten it done. Don't know till you try. Would you give a pick like that to get him? Or some scrub playing in the minors that Preds may have taken. I understand money plays into it and Leafs are tight on cap. You make it work great if not move on which maybe they did.No team in the league was willing to give up an asset for him. This is so accurate that it's giving me the heebie-jeebies.From 2018 to last season.........that OT goal would have been against Campbell or Mrazek or Murray or Samsonov.
Leafs pepper dozens of shots, and let only a handful on net, and find a way to lose it. We would be saying how the Leafs got goalied!
Plus complain how no one on our team protected our elite player after he got bulldozered by the other team with shoulder to head. No one stuck up. Not even a peep.
That was the torture of prior seasons that we saw the Devils experience tonight.
