Tired of the excuses for the guy. If you're hurt don't play. Listening to him he says he's feeling better every game. By the sounds of tonight and from what I've seen lately he's not so who's he trying to fool. Team was winning without him so go rest whatever is ailing you.
 
Reaves had one good backcheck that period which is more than I can say for the rest of the forwards but in no universe where sanity is valued should he be playing over Nick Robertson, and Nick Robertson has been pretty lousy this year.

When the team is struggling for offense you can't waste a space on RR.

My god just checked the scoreboard. 1 shot on goal with a PP for the whole period. 15-1 outshot. Holy. I hope Berube is giving them an earful.

You forgot the Marner save on the wraparound. The Matthews tie up to kill a chance.
Robertson is never getting a chance here and if they expect him to score with Lorentz as the other winger, playing on his off wing, it ain't happening.
 
One positive way of looking at this is AM34 won't give problems for Team Canada at 4 Nations.

Let's see what Nylander, Matthews and Marner do in that tournament to see which one shows up when the stakes are high.

My bets on Nylander.

Ya I agree with you. They are struggling to score which I found would be the last of their worries. So why do we keep playing Reaves or throwing Holberg with JT and Willy. We could go on.

Oh I disagree all 3 will play well and wouldn't surprise me to see 34 dominate some games.

I didn't say he should be on the 4th line. Holmberg can roost there.
