Kadri with the stupid boarding.

Good game from him until that, though.

For sure.

He had lots of time to see Manson was facing the glass a few feet out though.

These are the kinds of decisions he makes that will get himself traded IMHO.

Or,  those sort of OT efforts that will get himself re-signed. ;)

From nearly the GOAT to hero!

Fantastic. Really enjoyed that.

Thanks for staying up to watch!

Babcock is a magician. After that 5-4 goal that put Anaheim ahead (against Kadri-Bozak-Leivo), he sent out Laich-Smith-Greening, and they just trucked it into the Ducks' end of the ice and reset the tone the Leafs needed to play with.

Sparks is kind of a tire fire in net.

Right before Corrado's goal I was thinking "how did Vancouver just give him away"? But then I remembered Benning.

Kadri's on pace for the ~50 points he's put up recently. Though his overall game is by most accounts improved, that production seems not great, and I'd guess not quite what folks had hoped for in a 'show me' year when deciding whether to commit to him as a member of the core. But it's worth noting, I think, that his raw point totals are similar to previous years despite his shooting and on-ice percentages being below his career average.

Is that reason to think that his game has developed -- in ways that would yield the desired production -- even if the stats line doesn't reflect it?
