Rask just wasn't into it. He said the games feel like exhibition games with no fans and he's def missing his family. i respect that he opted out instead of half assing it going forward.
 
I completely respect Rask's decision. He's perfectly right, there are tons of things that are way more important than hockey and in professional sport if your heart isn't 100% in it you shouldn't be there.

Bad enough to see Svechnikov injured but then we have to see this crap. What a moron. Kinda glad we don't have to face the Bruins and this homer again. Honest to god think this imbeciles last name is really Ass. From his twitter account.

What NBC hasn?t shown yet, regarding the unfortunate injury to Svechnikov:  the Carolina wing playing hobby-horse, riding Chara on the back apron of the goal.  You poke the bear, you take your chances.  No one wanted to see Svechnikov hurt, but he bit off more than he could chew.

Lol, reading through the tweets it wasn't even Svechnikov that "poked the bear", it was Aho.

It was Edwards that did that cringe inducing commentary on the fight sequence between the bruins and tampa, no? Where he said something about "taking your harvard degree to the hospital"? That was full on WWF-worthy awfulness.
 
Poor Reimer. Up 2-0 almost midway through the 3rd and gives up the next 3 goals make that the next 4 goals. He must hate playing against Boston.

Carolina played stupid. Unreal that they had only 2 shots in the period and the first one came when they scored with a little over a minute left. Two D men leave Marchand alone... Just ridiculous. That was worse then the Leafs blowing a 3 goal lead. Dont feel for Reimer. Should have stayed in his net on the 1st goal that gave the Bruins life. They're done. And Halak looked terrible.

Definitely the author of their own defeat and he made a bad judgement call on the 1st goal, but I can't help but feel a little sorry for James. He was a really nice guy and it sucks to see him lose yet another critical playoff game to the Bruins in crappy fashion.
 
Leafs (immature terrible at defense team) vs Bruins in two playoff series: 6-8
Hurricanes (young, exciting, good defensive team) vs Bruins: 1-8
