Flames @ Maple Leafs - Dec. 10th, 7:00pm - CBC, Fan 590

That's a 5-point night for your MotM.

Credit to Tavares there, he had a lousy night overall but won that key faceoff.

They had just tested this earlier with the Marlies, where one D was FOGO

What a difference games with actually penalty calls does to Willy?s game.

I mean I never take things seriously from Sutter but this is a bizarre game to make that statement off of.

They missed a four minute high sticking penalty that took Malgin out of the entire 1st period.  They also missed a high stick on Bunting on the same play Matthews drew blood AND undid calling the Calgary penalty they initially signalled in the ensuing scrum once they found out Matthews drew a 4 minute PP.

Maybe one of their penalties was a bit soft and I?m not going claim the Leafs didn?t get away with anything but this seemed like a lot of cut and dry penalties

When asked about how many goals Nylander is targeting for this season:
Look. You just want to do better than the year before. Always trying to get better. Whatever that number ends up being, I?m not worried about it now.

Nylander literally can?t count that high.

Darryl Sutter going full sucky baby was cool to see. Shouldn't the NHL fine him or something for basically insinuating the league gives the Leafs more PPs at home cause they want to influence the outcome?

Darryl Sutter gets the "grandpa" treatment. Sure what he says can be a little inappropriate, or out of touch, but that's just gramps. Can't change him now.
