I'm not super convinced that's related, especially since he was held out well, well before the trade request and because I can't imagine McMann's value is particularly high. I assumed they plan on bringing him to Sweden as a backup roster player. I think teams have been permitted to carry a taxi squad like group for games outside of NA.

Apropos of nothing, Bobby McMann is from Alberta.

But yes I heard from Mirtle that he heard there?d be a taxi squad ? third goalie for sure. Peksa was called up to the Marlies from the ECHL so we will probably get Jones on the trip to Sweden (unless the team is super sentimental and brings Hildeby).
 
Domi at C has worked out better than I thought it would. He is no longer overthinking, but takes the ice that?s given and just motors away. All the stopping and starting at the wing was not conducive to his decision making. In the middle he is finally playing on instinct. It?s nothing fancy ? just North-South flow with pace and a couple dashes of skill when warranted.
