WINNIPEG - The Blizzard of 2013 couldn?t keep the Maple Leafs from arriving in Montreal from Winnipeg on Friday night, braving high winds and blinding snow in the process.
I would play Holzer with Phaneuf tonight...
Holzer/ Phaneuf
Liles/ Franson
Kostka/ Komisarek
At any rate, the Leafs need to cut down on the goals against, or they'll start losing on the road soon enough also. Go Leafs Go!

This is the problem with Toronto. The fans and the media are too moody. What happened to all the people who were raving, going on and on about Kostka at the beginning of the season? He's been playing fine with Phaneuf IMO. Fine, take him off the powerplay, but for a young player to log that many minutes and not give up too many chances, he has done very well so far IMO.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The Leafs just won 2 games in a row. They also only gave up 1 goal to Boston. This move is really stupid IMO.OldTimeHockey said:sickbeast said:I don't think they should have split up Kostka and Phaneuf. Though impressed with Kostka, many felt he was playing too many minutes and also felt he was holding Phaneuf back. Placing Phaneuf with a stay at home guy like Holzer, it allows Phaneuf to play a little more up the ice which will hopefully pot us more chances from the back end.
