the 3 in 4 will be hard on scrivens.  Age be damned.

The hard part is facing a team who can put the buck in the net.  3 in 4 is nothing, nothing.

bucks OR pucks.  LOLz

The Bolts are a defensively challenged team that the Leafs could really expose if they can jump on them early, just like they did last night.  TB only seems to win if they get into wild west shootouts.  If the Leafs continue to play a tight game, they can contain them.

Tampa is rested and Leafs are on a back to back.  Could show up later in the game.  Hope I'm wrong.

Should make for an entertaining fast game.  Expect the Lightning to put offensive pressure on a Leaf team playing back-to-back -- actually make that Scrivens.

Leafs didn't travel, no jet lag, etc., which is why they won't be tired.  Scrivens, though? That depends on how much the defence allows Tampa Bay to pepper him with shots.

In any case....GO LEAFS GO!!!!

I expect the shutout string to end tonight.

This could be a high scoring affair, particularly if the Leafs get into penalty trouble.

GO LEAFS!!!

I think a win tonight could be one of those defining moments for this team. Back to back, Scrivens coming off 2 straight shutouts, coming up against a high flying scoring team in Tampa. It feels like a loss if there ever was one. If they can win, it will be pretty damn special IMO.Go Leafs Go!

I don't feel this way, Tampa was owned by the Leafs last season, plus this season they are not that good, shut down the Stamkos line and the Leafs should be fine.

losses are going to come ..it's about how the team responds to them...i think the thing that made me the most optimistic so far this year is the fact that they ended a 4 game winning streak..lost one game..and got on a 2 game (and counting?) one ...

Why?  Why can't the Leafs win every game from here on in?  I want to finish this season 42-6.

Chicago might!

Seriously. They way they're played so far this season, they might not lose a game in regulation. They've just been unreal.

thankfully we don't have to play them.... :)

Just in the finals.

Just a quick fact for everyone...... If Tor and NYR both win tonight the leafs will be in first in the east.    Oh my!!! its almost time to hook up the waggon. ;D ;D

Wouldn't PIT keep the top spot with their 1 game at hand?

They'd also be behind NJ but, you know, grade on a curve.

Still no one in the east would have more pts, wow! guys admit it already, were playing with the big boys. ;D
