Game 3 - Calgary Flames vs Toronto Maple Leafs W3-2

grabo was out on left wing with Lombardi and Armstrong in place of Frattin. Hope he didn't get hurt as he was looking very solid. He is very strong on the puck along the boards, pretty slippery. I think he's due for a goal.

Reimer was very solid in that second period.

Not sure about tonight's D-pairings still, though.

Franson has been very meh so far.

Reimer played that 2nd like he knows he let in a crappy goal. Gotta keep it up in the 3rd!

How in the world did the most revered hockey broadcast in the world turn their intermissions over to Don Cherry and Mike Milbury?

I'm glad the Leafs tied it up. That makes the PP struggles go from tragic to sort of funny.

I still find it tragic...so many chances to be ahead right now
I know the talent isnt great but they haven't hit on one good setup? It just seems that by now we should have even a few more just by luck...maybe its too structured? I haven't the foggiest idea why its been so bad for so long with so many players coming in and out

I used to really enjoy the hotstove (except when Strachan was on). There is still some good information passed along. They really don't need Milbury on there.

Hands up if you actually find the Hotstove interesting?

I think it can be. It depends on who they have on it and what's going on. I think the talk of a 19 year old draft was interesting.

and again!
