Wow, the opponents got a holy mackinaw.

It was a cool save and all but the puck had zero chance of going into the net on that play.  It wasn't quite running parallel to the goal-line but it wasn't going to cross the line until the puck was already in the corner if it did.

Yea, the replay showed that pretty clearly.

Honest question: How many hands would you need to count the goalies on the planet you would trade Kadri straight up for?

None. He's untouchable. Him, Gardiner and Lupul. Not going anywhere. Anyone else, if the price is right.

and I wouldn't give Vancouver a bag of pucks for that loser Luongo......

Im not sure there is a goalie who is young and good enough to trade him straight up for. Price maybe? But If Kadri continues to get better, I'm not sure I'd do that.

So with Kadri getting more ice time as of late his point totals are also going up.  Doesn't that disprove what RC said earlier in the season in regards to keeping him at 15 minutes a game?

What about Kipper? It doesn't get much more obvious than that!

Although to make it a more even trade the Leafs would have to throw in a 1st too

Man, if they play like this against the Bruins, they are going to get slaughtered.

On the flip side, I loved seeing the team retaliate against the Bruins after Myers tried to fight Gunnarsson.  The Sabres tried to throw big kind of overly aggressive hits on the next shift and the Leafs just started throwing them right back and outhit and outchanced the Sabres over that period.

....and then the refs try and win the game for Buffalo.  After the Myers non-call they are going to call a penalty with less than 2 minutes left in the game against Toronto.

So much for the refs staying out of this close game, like the guy said after the Myers non-call  >:(

nm careless high stick they've got to call it :(
