?With Carlyle sitting JVR and Kessel in the third, the top line could see a makeover

Since Frattin sat yesterday, maybe play him with Bozak/Kessel, in the hope that he'll play with max energy trying to get back in the lineup... also providing the physical play that line has been lacking?

Then of course Lup/Kad/Kul since it works, and Mac/Grab/J-van as your 3rd?  (McLaren-McClement-McHamilton as 4th)

With a victory Tuesday, Toronto would become the fourth team in the Northeast Division to reach 40 points this season, joining Montreal, Boston and Ottawa. To put that in perspective, only one other Eastern Conference club outside the division (Pittsburgh) and four Western Conference squads (Chicago, Anaheim, Minnesota and Vancouver) have at least 40 points.

Scrivens Shutout the Panthers last time, he will problaby start, since Reimer had a busy night on monday.

I wish RC would mix his lines to something like this:

Lupul - Kadri - Kulemin
JVR/MacArthur - Grabo - Kessel
MacArthur/JVR - Bozak - Frattin
Hamilton - McClement - McLaren/Orr

Go Leafs Go!!!
Lets Hammer Florida out of town...

Good line up.

Kessel was sat?  He had the most ice-time he's had in 5 games, but I was watching very late at night so it's entirely possible my off was brain by that point [on purpose].

The classic let-down game tonight.  Hope i'm wrong.

I was kinda thinking the same, with all the effort put out the last two games, and facing a pretty weak opponent. That certainly would have been the case in previous years. I think this is one of those telling games tonight (good or bad). Scrivens needs to be sharp if they want the win.

I didn't notice him sitting. He actually made a couple of nice back checks too. I don't think he played in the last 4-5 minutes though...

Pretty sure I saw Kessel out there in the final few mins, including a half shift with Kadri.

I reeeeeeeeeeealllly would like to see JVR with Grabbo again at some point.  There was good chemistry early on with them plus JVR probably could stand to spend some time away from top checkers. Kulemin on the RW.

Lupul/Kadri/Kessel needs to be tried at some point but the risk will be being able to produce vs. top shutdown units.  Vs. FLA they will probably do just fine. :)

If those two combos work, Carlyle could build a 3rd line around Bozak/Frattin/Mac which won't produce crazy numbers but should produce what you would expect from a 3rd line.

Frattin better be back in the line-up tonight.  He adds way more to the line-up then Hamilton ever will.

Agreed, but he needs to recapture his goal scoring touch, and soon.

According to NHL.com, he had just over 4 minutes TOI in the 3rd.
