Game 43: Toronto Maple Leafs @ Buffalo Sabres L3-2

That's the 2nd or 3rd sizeable hit from Kadri in the last few games.  He may be small but he certainly put on some muscle in the offseason.

I heard it from the other room, good one?

I wouldn't be moving Kadri anytime soon.  I've been impressed by his physical play lately -- combine that with magic hands, and he remains intriguing.

One man on the point and four guys down low.  No-one near the front of the net....yeah, that's going to work.

Not a fan of MacArthur on the point, in this game at least. Don't know how he fared on Tuesday.

The Sabre came in to deliver a big hit and Kadri dropped his shoulder and sent him flying into the refs/boards.  He maintained the puck and got into the Sabres zone.

That little chirpiness has really been missing from his game at the NHL level.

Schenn for Van Riemsdyk....hmmmmm.  For a defensive defenseman he certainly makes an awful lot of brainfarts in the defensive zone.

Sweet, I'll have to keep an eye for a replay.

I don't know WTH Wilson is thinking anyway.

Try Dion and Cody on the first unit, put any MacArthur type experiments on the second unit with Gunnar.

At least until Liles or Gardiner I'd playing.

When is Connolly going to do something against his old team.  This is the 4th game against the Sabres now and I don't think I have seen him do something of note in any of them.

I don't like Mac on the point in the PP.  As soon as Franson got on they had chances. They need to respect his good quick shot.

I'd try Connolly on the point and maybe have Kadri out there at centre with the top-unit. Or Steckel. Either way, Connolly had success on the point in Buffalo.
