(25-16-6) Ottawa Senators vs Toronto Maple Leafs (22-17-5)

The Ottawa Senators are one of the NHL?s top-scoring teams, but were shut out for the first time this season in their last game.  They could have a good chance of getting back on track in the opener of a six-game road trip in Toronto.  The Senators try to bounce back from their first regulation loss in three weeks Tuesday night when they face Maple Leafs backup goaltender James Reimer, who hasn?t enjoyed much luck between the pipes lately.

Toronto coach Ron Wilson has decided to go with Reimer in goal after starting Jonas Gustavsson for the last six games. Reimer, who hasn?t played since New Year?s Eve, is 0-1-1 with a 4.11 goals-against average in his last three starts.

McPwnage GDT Record 7-5-2

We're due for a game where we get 4-5+ penalties and allow a PP goal.  Law of averages.

I think we'll win this one though.  4-3.

I smell a Leafs stinker. Ottawa 4-1

No way man, Leafs have been off 2 days and know how important this game is.  They'll have just that little bit more bounce than the Sens.  Leafs had their stinker on Saturday.

I hope it doesn't scare Leafs fans that I'm all positive before this game when i'm usually doom and gloom.  I just have a good feeling the boys will respond with a big game tonight.

22-0 Leafs.

Alfie, Spezza, Karlsson, and Michalek all get injured; replaced in ASG by Chris Neil, Erik Conda, Jesse Winchester and Chris Phillips.

Dunno, I have a feeling they will come out flat tonight and let in a quick first goal. Reimer will do that stupid fetal squat position for 10 seconds after he lets one in and it will snowball from there.

Alright. I'll take the opposite position for tonight and say the Leafs will come out flying. Reimer will be the difference in a Leafs win.

Gardiner needed to come out of the lineup (why was he sent to the minors for 1 day?) but I hope he can find a way to score his first goal and build some momentum in the second half.
