I really wonder about the CBC (not that that's a revelation to Canadians). Over the years they've been front and centre televising NHL games regardless of the date and time. As I understand it, they have a monopoly on televising the NHL on a Saturday. This year we've seen them not televise a Saturday game of Canucks vs Bruins (!) and now for some reason the Canuck - San Jose game is scheduled for 4 PM EST or 1 PM PST here in Vancouver...and the CBC is not showing them.
I live in Vancouver and don't give a crap about the Canucks - or even less than crap. I hate them and the whiny management, media and fans.
Saying that, until I was able to figure out how to get Leaf games regardless of the "National" broadcast, I was always ticked off at the CBC for showing me a non-Leaf game at 4 PM PST. Now in the billion-to-one chance I felt sympathy for the Canuck fan who lives outside of BC, I wonder what in the heck the CBC is thinking in not televising some pretty good matchups.

The only nice thing about this is that it's ticking off the Canucks and their fan.

The only game that matters. I hate the Habs and want the Leafs to destroy those losers.

Better be a monster Kaberle tribute video coming our way.

I just looked it up and it definitely appears as though Kabs has righted the ship since the trade. A 50 point pace and even rating with Montreal.

Yeah, it's worked out nicely for him, even if it hasn't done much to help the Habs - 6-10-2 since the deal with a PP running at 14.1% (though, that's actually a pretty substantial improvement from where they were).

Please Hockey Gods.... Let us lay a stomping on those damn sons of habs!

4-3 Buds in Reg is my call.

Kessel,Kadri,Franson &Lupes.
Lupal with another strong game just like Monster!

Found this clip while surfing and hey any pump up video is a good one!

GO LEAFS GO!!!

Just rode in an elevator with Nazem Kadri leaving my friends place. I feel like it was a good omen. Kadri with the hat trick.

It will be interesting to see who Healy will bash more tonight.

Given the way the Habs are playing, you'd think it's them, but he really goes out of his way when it comes to Toronto.

30 mins till puck drop and we're still on page 1? Especially since it is against those dirty habs, I'm surprised.

The numbers are way down from last year for some reason.

To be honest, I don't think activity on this board has recovered from the database crash last year.

Also, those of us who've been posting here for many years will remember how energy-filled the discussions were back when the team was in the playoff mix every season.  Lots of pointed exchanges ... anyone remember Juicer and Salzy?
