Game 5 - Jets @ Leafs - Wednesday Oct 19th 2011 - 19:30 EST - TSN 4-2 Win

Phil Kessel is to this year's Maple Leafs what Will was to Carlton's High School basketball team.

Lupul and Kessel have half the teams shots tonight with five each. Steckel is the only other forward with more than one shot (he has two).

Ok, now, anyone else on the team starts playing well and we'll be cooking with kerosene.

Grabs has been sleepwalking.  I'd like to see him get the GWG.

Kulemin also looks a step slower than he did last season. I'm sure he'll pick it up, but, the sooner, the better.

Yeah, i agree. Missing that acceleration that was his trademark.

Ferraro isn't even seeing the game, he thinks Komi hasn't been out there. LOOK AT THE LOG. He broke up a 2 on 1 earlier in the 3rd.

He's had a grand total of 2 shifts in the 3rd. So he's definitely playing very little this period.

That was the motivation for my 'Pass it to Phil' signature on the last board.

I always wondered why Will never got a basketball scholarship.

Well, he only played on the team for that one episode. That's no way to impress the scouts.

Well off to OT again.  Be nice to pick up the extra point.  Either way 8 out of 10 points is a good homestand.
