Game 51: Pens @ Maple Leafs, 7:30 - No Meltdown, please!

@2nd leg of the back to back.

Toronto let Pittsburgh get 2 points when they were almost done.
A luck bounce on Malkin shoulder with 6 seconds to go, and the SO winner to complete de meltdown.

Leafs lead 4-1 in the 3rd, unbelivable. Grabovski and Bozak played great last night, both with 2 goals scored, but the Bozak 1st was waived by a bad interference call by the Ref.

Tonight we hope to crush the Pens. And see as 3 out of 4 points is not that bad. a Regulation win for the Leafs is a must.

Jonas Brother should sit down this one after he let in the Pens 3rd goal. (my opnion)

Some rumblings that Liles and Armstrong will be back in tonight, with Aulie and Kadri heading to the Marlies. Kadri had a good game last night, but, if this news is true, it's more of a cap related move than anything else. He has the biggest cap hit that can be cleared without having to wait for him to clear waivers.

Although last night's loss stings and could bite the team towards the end of the season, getting 3 or 4 points against Pittsburgh would be satisfactory.

We're going to win soundly... One of our best games of the year. Yeah, I'm talking to you, Chazz and Zee. Chew on that, tough guys.

Looks confirmed.

Nazem Kadri and Keith Aulie gone from the #leafs. Looks like they've been sent down to AHL.

Last night was one of the best games of the year for 50 minutes -- oh wait.

I have a good feeling we bounce back with a W tonight.  I think they are gonna be ticked from last night and really put forth a good effort.

Seems to me the Leafs are always flat in back to back games.  Maybe their speed game takes a toll on them and they're not as effective in the 2nd game of a  back to back cause they can't get their legs going.  I hope I'm wrong.

I don't have a good feeling about tonight, I see them coming out flat, like they seem to do often at home.

I am bitter as a fan right now, last night cut me deep.

I have noticed that also, but Pittsburgh is on the exact same schedule as us so we have no excuses.

Yes, but then I remember those games where the Leafs were playing a team on a back to back and the Leafs were rested (see Ottawa, see Montreal) and yet we still lost.  That really bothers me.

This is a HUGE game tonight too.  It's one of the Leafs games in hand over the Sens, if the Leafs win we're 2 points back of Ottawa with 2 in hand and we play Ottawa on Saturday.  NEED TO WIN.

REIMER STARTS TONIGHT.

Oh God please play a strong game.  I am so worried now, he's been so average.  :-\
