Watching the Bruins dominate us is depressing for several reasons.  Firstly, they are the prototypical team that Burke wanted to originally build when he got here.  Secondly, by giving them blue chip assets we've not only significantly assisted them in ending their championship drought, we have to contend them for division supremacy for years to come.  Burke should have been fired for even thinking about trading all those assets for a soft scorer like Kessel.

Thirdly, the Bruins have 8 players from Ontario on their team.

Your not wrong.

they've been outplayed pretty much all game.do you just roll four lines now and try and make sure the team isn't exhausted tomorrow?  or is that not a factor?

The trade screwed this team for years people don't want to talk about it

Shall we start debating who should start tomorrow night in Pittsburgh, or is everyone as bored with that non-choice as I am?
Put Schenn in net  and Gus on defense and Gus can show what a pylon looks like from goalies view

And yet before that trade was made, trades like it were completed in the past that significantly altered our path to success (or lack thereof).  Its almost like management makes these band-aid trades because they are afraid to win.

I'm assuming Rome didn't build their defensive fortifications in a day, although this is more akin to France v Germany in a war.  Hopefully Carlyle has more than a Maginot Line up his sleeve.

Komisarek is our Maginot Line. Big. Hugely expensive. Massively over-rated. And completely helpless in the face of agile fast-moving opponents.

*Golf clap

That's insane we've been PKing at 89% and still in 29th.

I thought the same thing when we went a month without a PP goal against. I was convinced that there was a glitch with nhl.com's stats.

I guess when swimming upstream it seems like you are getting somewhere but in reality all you are getting is tired. Sigh

Go leafs go?

any word on my Joffrey yet? (I was away for the intermission)

Surprisingly, the team says it's a UBI.  Won't be back tonight.

Sure looked a shoulder separation to me.

Blow up the entire team for draft picks ?
Coulda had 3 first rounders for that amazing second line we have here.

The hole they dug themselves was really just that deep. They'd have to kill the next 32 opportunities just to get to 80%.
