Bozak checked Lucic? Gotta like that.

A for effort, I guess.

Well, yeah, but there was a time I'm not sure he throws that check.

In college?  ;)

Ha, no, there were a couple times when he got seriously intimidated last year, particularly in front of the net, he's really overcome a lot of that this year to me, much more confident.

Pretty even period. Looked like Toronto had a slight edge in the first half and Boston had the slight edge in the second. The top-line needs to start doing something in the offensive zone.

He's definitely more confident.

He's looking pretty good playing the puck since the Leafs scored vs. Montreal. I say let him.

I disagree. Just about every time he's played the puck tonight when there's been pressure, the Bruins have ended up with the puck.

Boston took over that period. Looked like they remembered how they played against the Leafs in the other victories this season.

Yeah, Kessel is really on the perimeter, right at the blueline for most of that period.

leafs were treading water for the last half of that period ...  .we have a lot of size on the back end..somehow someone has to teach them how to use it ...the leafs are consistently manhandled in front of their own net ...i know it's boston ..but they have to find a way to stand their ground there...sequin isn't exactly a powerhouse ..

I agree. Boston was the better team in the first. We'd better play better from outset in the 2nd or this could get ugly.

Yikes. Kessel and Lupul no offensive spark at all. None in Montreal
either. Hope it's just an adjustment period.

Well, if you're not scoring, might as well learn how to stop a goal too.

I think in Carlyle's system their production is gonna drop big time.
That line has managed to score, but they lose the game in the past.

I think they're scared poopless of Carlyle. For almost all of the previous games they really did generate tons of chances. Even a few against Boston  ;)

That could be chalked up to a communication error.

Monster has killed some good Boston forecheck plays by confidently handling the puck behind the net. Now the other players need to get to use to him doing it.
