Game 7: Capitals @ Leafs 7:00PM Sportsnet Ontario

Kostka was nowhere on the Leafs depth chart until camp.  He turned Carlyle's head and has gotten scads of icetime with our supposed #1 stud.  Holzer has more upside and would be better defensively.

I never said Kostka is the biggest problem on the team -- Lord knows we have plenty.  But he's a helluva lot closer to being an AHL journeyman than an NHL regular, let alone a first pairing guy.

I tend to agree that he should not be on the first powerplay or the first pairing, but to suggest he hasn't looked at the very least a competent part of a top six, makes you look silly.

He has not been bad playing a lot, no reason to think he would be bad with a reduced simplified role.

Wow does Koskta ever suck. Hes the reason why we're not winning the game  ::)

You need to read previous posts more carefully before shooting off your mouth.  I am happy to give credit where it's due, but it doesn't change my overall opinion.

I highly doubt he's going to figure in our long-term plans.

EDIT: As opposed to Kadri & Frattin.

Kadri says give me that point lead back, Kulemin.  Frattin with another one, how about that.  Pucks are going in.
