Game 7: Leafs @ Bruins - Apr. 23rd, 7:00pm - CBC, TSN 1050

I mean, they were playing even-steven and then you let their bottom 6 beat you twice.  Unbelievable.

But it's not over, not by a long shot.

Apart from the obvious miscues Marner and Tavares has another invisible period offensively. Marner looks timid and afraid to get near the puck. Not too sure what?s going on.

?  Tavares has had a couple of decent chances in close.  Marner, aside from that one rush, has been invisible.  Not going to cut it.

Yes we have them right where we want them, overconfident, smurky (Marchant) and just waiting for Johnny T and Mickey Marner to channel their inner Disney Leafs and do fucking something.

Where to begin.... Marleau is useless and should probably pack it in. Willy is a baby, he sucks and he should have sat all year. Trade him in the offseason and free up money for Mitch, Kappy and Johnsson. Gardiner should sign with the Bruins, how many Bruin GA has he primary assisted?

Gardiner is obviously playing hurt, and I think that is playing a factor into some of his poor decisions.  He probably shouldn't even be in lineup because he is skating nowhere close to 100%.

JT looks ok Marner looks horrible. Leafs only dangerous line is Matthews and thx to Dermott and Gardiner they're a -2 while playing good defensively. Unreal.

Yeah, if nothing else Muzzin has shown what he can do.

I was talking to my crewmate this morning saying that the Leafs were done after game 6. The only thing on their mind is how they should have won that game and that none of them wanted to be in Boston playing game 7.

It heavily influenced my decision to switch back to night shift as I was pretty sure there wouldn't be a second round worth watching.

Looks like I made the right call.

I don't care if he's hurt. Gardiner does this shit all the time. He is not good defensively, never has been. He just signed his walking papers.

I agree that he probably shouldn?t be in the line up but I haven?t seen many poor decisions. That drop was brutal, obviously, but no one was giving him a target.

It would be nice if Andersen didn?t look so jittery. That first goal was a huge momentum killer. Andersen has let in a bunch of stinkers this series (notwithstanding the fact that he?s made some good saves). Can?t really say the same for Rask.

Time to change things up...

Hyman - Matthews - Marner
Moore - Tavares - Kapanen
Johnson - Nylander - Brown
Marleau - Gauthier - Ennis

OK, this period will determine whether there's any chance or not.  They can't go into the third down more than 2 and have any reasonable hope of getting it to OT.

Against all evidence I say they get it to 2-2.
