Hard to say really, but when I look at the actual accomplishments of the two, one has .33ppg and is a plus player on a weak team, one has .30ppg and is a minus player on a strong team.

The jury is still largely out on that one, it's a little early to drag out the Boyd D. pin cushions and get mired in premature and mostly pointless blame games.

Right now the most impressive accomplishment, by far, that either player can claim is Schenn's sticking with and contributing to a good team.

That or +/-. Both are good.

I also think he has to be given some credit for his hitting prowess.

He's talking about Brayden, not Luke.

Brayden is doing very well in the hits category too.

Sure, but, not to the point where I'd call it "hitting prowess" - not that something like that really means all that much.

Reasons I might watch this game:
- Tired from doing yard work.
- Kids on the computers/Wii.
- Wife reading.
- Can't find the dog's leash.
- Other channels playing repeats.
- Good excuse to drink, win or lose.

I'd say number and/or "size" of hits is just about the most useless statistic for evaluating a player -- perhaps next only to wins by a goaltender.

It's the last game of the season and we won't see another Leafs' game until October is my reason.

"Don't tell these 2 teams that this doesn't mean anything."

Uh, this doesn't mean anything.

Mine too, cheers.

What are these, the Mark Messier team spirit awards?

And Carey: get real with the cowpoke outfit man.

Scrivens is the first Leafs goalie to have earned the team points in three straight games over the past two months, talk about underlining what has ailed us.
