GDTs Needed

Hello hello, I will be unable to make the GDT for Monday's game vs. the Islanders and Tuesday's game vs. the Rangers so I'm asking for any volunteers to take those on. Feel free to use my threads as a template (just his quote on them and copy/paste the code), or make them however you'd like.

I'll be taking a trip down to NYC with friends to watch those two games and will be too drunk busy exploring the city to write them up myself. Thanks!

I've had to edit mine 3 times already.  I have a whole new respect for what CtB does.

Mine broke immediately after I posted because it got a bunch of excess table tags during the course of editing and I had to root those out a chunk at a time.

Something data dynamic like that would certainly be easier to output regularly (especially since NHL has to do all games), but we're on a bbcode bulletin board and doing our best in a text-based platform :D

Thanks again guys. Got to see Tavares hit 1000 against the Islanders live and see the Rangers get trounced despite the best efforts of their fans to chirp us about the 4-1 game that happened *checks notes* 10 years ago.

I usually just half-ass/rush them when I'm not feeling it. Can generally whip one out with the bare bones information in like 5-10 minutes. Doing full fledge game notes as y'all did for every game is certainly a little much.

Ditto. Thanks for all the effort CTB puts into these. It was also cool that a few people stepped up in place of CTB when needed. Good team effort.

The GDTs are for me the pinnacle of this board. I can?t imagine there?s a huge number of Leafs fans in Northern Ireland and certainly none of them my wife would be overly willing to have sit in my house between the hours of midnight-3am, particularly on week nights.

So for the last many, many years the GDTs have been my chance to interact live with other watching the games so I appreciate the effort in creating them and the input of everyone who contributes each night.
