Leafs @ Flames - Jan. 26th, 9:00pm - SNO, TSN 1050

Didn't Toronto media/fans feel similarly when Kadri was sticking up for teammates and said teammates milled about outside the fray?

I still can't get over how funny this is. For as much crap as I give Brad Marchand there's absolutely no way he would ever throw such a gigantic hissy fit like this. All because a player lightly tossed a puck at him.

Interesting advertising approach from Tim's -we retroactively acknowledge our horrible burned dark roast coffee for years and years but it'll be different this time
This Hour has 22 minutes does some hilarious take offs on Tim's campaign.  I find it so used car salesman. It was bad for years, now its great!

Definitely was worth staying up to watch the whole game just to see this sequence. I would have preferred if someone had pounded Tkachuk the other game after he piled onto Campbell's head, but I'll take what I can get.

Reilly has not looked good tonight.
I watched Lehtonen at point take a guy into the boards with his hip.  5 game in and he has done something Rielly hasn't done since he has been here.  For fucks sake hit someone.

I'd also like to point out that it really doesn't taste all that different now either.  It's still pretty bland/mediocre for a dark roast coffee.

If it's a trend in Calgary, it's because his teammates are sick of these useless displays of anger off the ice.

That's what I thought Strickland meant here, not that they should have jumped in.

Strickland is cozy with the Tkachuk's, would never say something bad about Keith's boys. He's definitely criticizing the Flames for not sticking up for him.
I don't know how you could read it the other way tbh.

I think he's talking more about the on ice incident where he went at Muzzin and the rest of the flames kind of watched.

I stayed up well past the game hoping someone on Sportsnet or the national coverage would breakdown what happened. Alas I had to wait until Jomboy...

This received Kyle Dubas' personal seal of approval on twitter too.

I really want Ozzy Man to take a go too

Teams brutal for that. Too many guys who won't lay a hit. Is what it is unfortunately I've been harping about the lack of hitting from this team for ages.

Just to add I liked what I saw from Lehtonen. Pretty good for his first real test.
A lot more steady than Dermott.
I don't think Dermott has been bad, it's hard to criticize a guy that's been on the ice for only 1 goal against, but Lehtonen seemed more calm with the puck and Bogo looked better as well. i hope Keefe continues playing him.

Yeah, he made a few unfortunate plays is all in a single game. You're taking my comment to don cherry depths of nonsense.

It's unfair to him but I do think I want to see what we really have in Lehtonen a little more than what Dermott offers at this point.

Yeah, totally agree. I think with the condensed schedule/potential for injuries, you've got to have 8 D that get rotated in and out; some of it will happen organically, and sometimes somebody has to sit out of the top 4, and it was dermott this time. He hasn't done anything to warrant being taken out of the lineup by my eye test other than drawing the short straw.

I'd guess that he, Bogo Lehtonen, and hopefully Sandin will move in and out over the season. I'd really like to see Sandin sooner than later for development alone.

I think Sandin would benefit more from 1st pairing minutes in the AHL (if they have a season) than being a part-time guy with the Leafs. For the team's top prospects, I don't really want them being called up until they're ready to take a spot in the lineup full-time. Last year was only Sandin's 2nd professional season, and it was cut short. With the depth the team now has on the blueline, they can afford to take their time with Sandin and Liljegren, as well as with some of the better forward prospects.

Me too, especially on the PP.
