I honest think the best road road to recovery would be to tank for the 2015 NHL entry draft.

Personally, I'm not entertaining that as a reasonable expectation for the Leafs at all. The time for the Leafs to bottom out isn't now or next season, it was over the last 3-6 years.
Is it against the rules to play without a goalie for 60 minutes every game? I think if we did that, even with 6 Crosbys on the ice we wouldn't win.

More and more, I'm understanding value of hockey analytics to media.  It helps avoid inconvenience of having to actually watch the game.

I'm understanding value of repeating everything an exec says about their team. It helps avoid inconvenience of having to actually think.

I wonder if they're gonna slap each other.  Wet t-shirt fights ooooohhhhh

jonasTSN1050: Leafs actually have more shootout wins (6) since the start of Nov. than in regulation/overtime (5).

I actually count 7 shootout wins, but, the point still stands.

I remember looking at the standings in the start of Novemeber and thinking Toronto was doing a great job of avoiding the shootouts and OT's.....How things have changed.

Columbus won tonight, giving them 48 points. 2 points separate 1 through 7 in the wildcard standings. 5 of those teams have a game in hand on the Leafs and they are all well ahead of Toronto in the tie-breaker category.

It's going to be a crazy tight crazy for those final two spots.

Had to be the one player on the Flyers better than JVR.

See you at Sochi, Claude.

He'd be America's best centre. By like, a lot.
Giroux .89 pts/game.  +1, 50.9 FO% 17 giveaways, 27 takeaways.
Bozak  .83 pts/game.  +5, 49.1 FO%  8 giveaways, 19 takeaways.
Better then JVR?  I'd say he's a Bozak at best.
