A couple of years ago when Kadri was playing for the Marlies, some old guy rang Andy Frost on AM 640 and wanted to know why the leafs wouldn't bring Nathan Cadbury up. Frost just dismissed him and went to the next caller but he'll always be Nathan Cadbury to me.

I'm pretty sure the caller called him Nigel Cadbury.

I'd prefer Bodie over D'amigo on the 4th line even without facepunching potential. He plays a tougher game, drives the net, and is actually a fairly good skater.
I'm not sure that I would pick Bodie over D'amigo but if Carlyle wants 2 tough guys on the 4th line I would use Bodie and Devane before McLaren and Orr.

Was it Nigel? Yeah, you might be right. There's another guy here http://www.torontogolfnuts.com/archive/index.php/t-49627.html that heard Nathan though.

I'm positive it was Nigel. Here's a thread from the HF Boards (God help them all) that was started the day after.....

Either way, I remember laughing my head off when Frost finally figured out who the guy was talking about.

If I were Kulemin, the Leafs would have to throw some really big bucks my way to resign.  I'd be all over playing with Malkin in Pittsburgh.

I personally do not think he is unhappy, I mean he knows he could score more if on different team, but Carlyle trusts him a lot, he plays a lot, has never been a healthy scratch, has never been demoted to the 4th line or something, has never been criticized by coach or management. He gets tough assignments but it seems that he took this challange and he is quite OK with that. He is a very low profile person and there is absolutely nothing that would indicate that he is not happy with the things as they are.

I'm just assuming Kulemin enjoys playing in the NHL.  But I bet playing with Malkin was fun as well.  Pittsburgh...best of both worlds.  They'll talk during Sochi.

I would actually finally like to see some pay back on Gionta after at he did to Reimer.  Someone should just grab him and give him a beat down....I feel the same way about Marchand too.

Kulemin should be playing in Raymond's place. Brings much more to the table in pretty much all facets of the game. Randy never seems to give him more than a shift or two on the second line before sending him back and I don't get it.

I agree. Raymond has speed and flash but always ends up going nowhere and is only able to distribute the puck to the other team. Actually I think Raymond will be gone by the deadline and would not be surprised to see Kadri on the wing once Boland is back.
